How MATURED and HUMAN we really are in the 21st Century...?!

Originally from my facebook post:
"No offense to Germans, we all know this guy's just being an idiot ! He just published his anti-immigration book Deutschland schafft sich ab ("Germany Does Away With Itself" or "Germany Abolishes Itself" according to wikipedia). I personally agree on the part that immigrants would be expected to appreciate and respect the other country's culture, history, and people and hopefully integrate enough to fit in. But on the other hand you shouldn't expect them to just through away their own values and certainly you can't label everyone by their nationality/race/religion ... Like this guy says we in the middle east are not educated ! That's crap ! Most of my friends and I are doing PhD now.  Good and bad are everywhere u can't label people by nationality..."

---------------------------------------------

Well all I'm saying is as we are all HUMAN, we should act more civilized and humanly about this matter. We don't burn down or bomb religious places (mosques churches ...) We don't look down to someone because they're not White, Black, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Man, Woman, Thin, Smart, Well educated, Rich, from or Country or Continent, Blond, Brunet, Red-head, Elegant, with great Job, ....
And certainly we have way more important issues like stopping the wars, global health, child labor, global warming, environment, pollution, toxins ... to worry about.

Yeah earth is flooding, Nature is dying, soon enough there would be nothing left for us and other living beings on earth to eat, drink, breath, and live. And hey lets just gather all together and fight ! Doesn't matter over a team, an ideal, a country , a religion, a race... Right?! Let's just fight. Because as long as we just pick up our stupid fights and kill or abandon each others doesn't matter what we are fighting for in the first place.

So about that crazy guy, all I say is hey there are many wrong doers which lead to people having to leave their beloved homeland and try to survive in another country. What if instead of being such jerks on both sides, we start "respecting"  the culture and history and not (at least intentionally) breaking the substantial rules and laws of the host land, and also not to smash the newcomers heads by our stupid prejudices. Yeah Indians are everywhere in England since they've been colonized by them, also Algerians in France, and Moroccans in Spain and ... countries like US and Canada just have been formed from these newcomers few centuries ago. The same way Americans and NATIVE Americans fought each other, people like Sarrazin are afraid their gonna be kicked from their homeland !

So if once and for all, all stop being stupid, offending each others' believes, cultures, ideals, values, and ....  stop MURDERING, butchering, bombing, raping, torturing, imprisoning each other .... And start acting as human, and take responsibility for all the problems mistakes and damaging and trashing to the Earth and others... We still might have a chance.

So neither Sarrazin nor the ones who "disrespect" the host-land's culture, laws, and values are right. Because none ever did try to act as matured adults and stop being such idiots.
One of my great friends is the total opposite of me in believes and life style, but the ground rule of "mutual" understanding and respect got us stay friends for long, and never having a bad fight or getting offended or hurt by each other.  It IS all MUTUAL. That's all !

A year has passed...

A year has passed. Can't believe. Like it was yesterday. The wound is still fresh and bleeding...
It's all gone. Left for me is just memories, a bunch of photos, and a poem on the gravestone...
It's about time, but it's still TOO hard to let go.
The black shirt and the tear drops... All packed, all ready to put in the closet and lock...But there's always this little part of me who would never forget. That little scar on my heart would always remind me of him...

:D mmm...! But I'm not gonna close this blog....

Ok! I'm not writing to apologize for this long delay ( Please don't expect me think any of you read my posts regularly or at all !). But I just want to inform you that although I'm not closing this blog, I'm not gonna have new posts in here for a while. This is not because I won't write blog any more, but that I have two parallel or sister blogs (the other is in yahoo 360) and it's not wise to make a carbon copy of a blog and name it as something else !! So I've decided to refer you to my blog at 360. Of course I won't close this one because I like it so much ! I'm just gonna suspend it for a while until I change it's current still.

I'm waiting for you on my page in 360 at:
http://360.yahoo.com/nueva_sheyda

See you there. Best wishes....

Sincerely,
Sheyda Beigpour

Someday out of the blue...

Our GREAT Graduation Ceremony

Graduation Ceremony might seem to be an academic event which is held by each university, college, or any other place which can "Graduate" something (!) at the end of every academic year (depending on that place!). But definitely you'll never be surprise to know that's not the case in most Iranian colleges or universities (including our Shahid Beheshti). At least here we never officially receive ANY help from anyone! Still we collect money, arrange a ceremony, make reservations, schedule events, take care of all the bureaucracy for permissions, talk to many officials (or even beg!), and do all the works at the ceremony (and even after that) by ourselves!

While we are celebrating our graduation after 4 years of pure study and academic work and finally becoming a REAL ENGINEER, some of us kindly accept to be in charge and do all the stuff in cooperation with each other. Although doing ALL the stuff in 24hours couldn't be achieved without the great help and outstanding cooperation of all these great friends (everyone who helped, even myself!! ), but nothing can lessen the value and great effect of both hosts' performance. There were even sometimes which the whole ceremony was in the great danger of being canceled or ruined (especially in the case of some unavoidable confusions), but they did a remarkable job in fixing everything which was more than hard to be done in a LIVE performance.

Therefore, thanks to the Niloofar's (Hoseini) great performance and the fantastic job done by Navid (Oskouipour) our little ceremony was turned to unbelievably enjoyable celebration for all of us. Not only the remarkable self-confidence of hosts, but also their great oral talent was greatly helpful. In spite of some UNPROFESSIONAL criticism, to those who are more familiar with the art of live performance and vital rules obeyed by famous popular experienced hosts (including Larry King) Navid's performance, management, and Prestige was remarkable -even some of my friends believe he should give (professional) talk-show hosting a try! So I'm happy for our faculty to be known as an academic place which is not only in charge and filled by pure researchers (book worms) but also ARTISTS and future LEADERS. And this is too fantastic to be expected of an Iranian university or any other academic non-artistic institute.

Thanks again to all who helped this memorable ceremony to become this fantastic (Special thanks to both hosts and also our kind professors and teachers who made it)

P.S: Maybe it's time for the ENGINEERS of Shahid Beheshti University to separate themselves from the rest, not ONLY by their knowledge, but also by their great taste and understanding of ART (in its all kinds).

Patriotism ....

The COOL Almighty.... (More Than A Miracle)

If this life really is a game, God definitely is the BEST player! In fact every time I play a life game with God, I end up figuring out that God is the winner. It seems like he is the "All-time Winner" of every game we discover to play. I've already tried too many different games with the life's champion, but no matter how hard I've tried and no matter how smart I've planed the game, God have shown me a new unbelievable trick out of the blue. Sometimes God waited too long for the right moment and place for revealing new secrets of the game science! Sometimes I even have forgot about some of the games which by mistake I thought I've won them all, while God wisely have just remained silent . But even after more than 5 years, suddenly God turns and shows the winning card which always is just like a very high voltage shock to me! I even spend more than days to get over the unbelievable facts.

I've noticed that for every game we play, there is a very important and useful lesson which almost no way other than what God have chosen, can truly make me realize. Lessons that I may even find in too many books or hear from too many people, but I will never realize the true meaning before I experience it in my life and IN MY OWN WAY. Maybe because there is never two or more individuals who are entirely the same, and everyone IS too unique than s/he may ever thinks!

But today, I've realized a huge fact that God has more power than I can even imagine, and this COOL ALMIGHTY can even make me deeply, madly, truly fall in love with God's Self. Its true that God is Almighty just like what every religion ever said, but what they never said or even accepted is that this Dear Almighty is too COOL and ATTRACTIVE to resist!

Few days ago I've thought of something which was somehow related to here's climate, while I would never imagine that the COOL ALMIGHTY can even make it RAIN IN SUMMER! [Can you believe its raining in June 26th!! - especially in Tehran!!] And I can't hide the fact that I'm more than happy that my (maybe ours) dear Almighty is very serious about being COOL (sometimes even in sending miseries! -I've experienced it myself a lot!).

So I've just realized a very COOL FACT which is:
"No matter what I think and do, and no matter what happens in the world, I always can count on a very COOL and KIND ALMIGHTY who will NEVER LET ME DOWN" -That's might be why I LOVE THE ALMIGHTY GOD.

P.S: It never is a game of winning and losing. It always end up all being WINNERS. Maybe there never is a real LOSER. And sometimes I think I might believe in such a thing only because I've never been in some people's shoes who seemed to be surrounded by PURE MISERY. But I end up thinking that it is always possible for every miserable life to reveal a fantastic future for many famous people I've known (who became known for the huge unbelievable change they've made in their life), and it can even happen to people like me! TRUST ME: IT IS A VERY COOL ALMIGHTY OUT THERE FOR EVERYONE.
